Special chain slings from corrosion-proof AISI 316 steel, production of Holland.

Stainless steel belongs to the composite high-alloyed corrosion-resistant steel. Stainless steel is made with  large amount of chrome. The thin layer of insoluble oxides on a surface prevents corrosion. Stainless steel with 12 % of chrome has high corrosion firmness in usual conditions, with 17 % of chrome – in more hostile, oxidizing and other environment, e.g. strong nitric acid up to 50 %.

– 4-fold margin of safety or 4:1.

– there is an additional possibility to add shortening hooks which allow to regulate sling’s length.
